VOLUNTEER/ WORK EXPERIANCE POSITIONS

Volunteers should:

• Have a keen interest in the arts 
• Be available one – two days per month (opening hours – Fri to Mon, 10am-4pm)
• Be able to work reasonably independently
• Can communicate positively with others across different ages, backgrounds, cultures and abilities
• Are flexible and enjoy working with others in a team situation
• Understand that this volunteer role will not lead to paid employment

Desirable:

• Be computer literate (desirable but not necessary)
• An interest in furthering a career in the arts
• Studying the arts
• Previous gallery experience

What you will be involved in at Gang Gang Gallery:

• Assisting curators
• Hanging and installation of works
• Social Media posting
• Talking with clients about exhibited works

If you would like to formally register for consideration in the Program, please forward a copy of your CV and covering letter to let us know what you are particularly passionate about, or are keen to learn. You should also indicate how regularly and over what duration you might be able to offer your time. If a volunteer position becomes available which we feel matches your skills you will be contacted.
