SEPTEMBER 28 – OCTOBER 1

BEATLEFEST ROCK PHOTO EXHIBITION with DAVID WALLACE

A collection of Photographs from Rocks golden ages, the 60’s to the 80’s.

David Wallace was born in Bristol England to a single mother who immediately adopted him out. After leaving school he worked as a photographer for a newspaper covering the Southwest of England and South Wales. As a young photographer in the late 60’s he photographed a lot of the concerts at the Colston Hall in Bristol. This was before the days of the paparazzi and so would be the only photographer at the venue.

Groups playing there included the Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys etc. Unfortunately, a lot of photographs got destroyed in the 2019 bushfires on the NSW South Coast.

ARTIST TALK – Sunday October 1st, 11am to 1pm
