At Gang Gang Gallery, creativity has always extended beyond the gallery walls—into conversation, music, and the shared experience of storytelling. Our featured podcasts continue that tradition, offering a space where art meets voice, and ideas unfold in real time.

At Gang Gang Gallery, our podcast series continues to spotlight the rich creative voices of the Blue Mountains—where art, story, and community intersect.

Our latest Talking ArtZ episode brings together two complementary segments that explore both artistic practice and the deeper rhythms of life.

In “In the Frame,” Jenny Ward shares conversations with local artists, offering insight into exhibitions, process, and the ideas shaping the region’s cultural landscape.

The second segment revisits an engaging interview from Robyn Catchlove’s Catch the Loverly, featuring poet and writer Andris Heks. Reflecting on the iconic kookaburra, Heks explores laughter as a form of connection, communication, and wellbeing—grounded in nature and deeply human in its impact.

Alongside this new release, two recent episodes continue the conversation around art, memory, and environment.

In “Art, Memory & Community,” Brad Diedrich speaks with artist Zenta Zebergs, alongside reflections on the legacy of artist John Ellison. Through personal stories and exhibition insights, the episode reveals how art lives on through relationships, shared histories, and community connection.

Artist Zenta Zebergs joins us to discuss Love and Art – Her Story, a deeply personal retrospective of her mother Anita Rezevska. Spanning nearly 60 years of creative work, the exhibition explores identity, migration, and artistic evolution—from war-torn Europe to Australia—while also weaving in the story of Zenta’s father, sculptor Antony Symons. It’s a moving story of art as both inheritance and lifelong calling.

And in “Cradle of Conservation,” ecologist and artist Wyn Jones discusses his exhibition at Gang Gang Gallery, tracing the roots of environmental activism in the Blue Mountains. Blending art, science, and lived experience, the conversation highlights how creative practice can deepen our connection to place and inspire care for the natural world.

Together, these podcasts reflect what Talking ArtZ does best—bringing together diverse voices to explore how art shapes, and is shaped by, the world around us.
